A most cozy, pleasant retreat for families, couples and friends could not be achieved more conveniently than at the warm comfort of rental holiday cottages in a beautiful countryside scenery and freshest air, as it would surely provide that extra relief, silence, space and cost effectiveness combined.

Be it a bed and breakfast or a self-catering efficiency, there has never been a greater demand from holiday seekers in aiming directly at their dream UK cottages as the best and most ideal way to escape for a weekend, a week, or for even an entire season seeing that the benefits in cottage holidays are way greater than with the all common pricey travel agencies and posh hotels.

The experience, to start with is priceless when one from the city suddenly lands at those classic rural UK cottages that have been standing there in that same, most friendly, most finely maintained shape and living space that once served the pre-modern, pre-Victorian dwellers so romantically.

Preserving the modest touch, yet mostly renovated, some of these unique holiday-designated countryside cottages have been specially modified to contain even more than 5 bedrooms, making them the perfect spot for teams, friends and couples requiring the more spacious accommodations, while one roomed spaces, often referred to as the fisherman’s house are also available, sometimes attached to a larger property.

Enjoying the relaxed, matchless atmosphere of these rural holiday cottages aside the most astonishing outdoor sceneries of classic Scotland, England, Ireland, France, Wales and thousands of furthers worldwide can best relieve the guests of their daily hassles, serving them a fresh, exclusive inspiration to last till their next holiday in these most unforgettable traditional surroundings and comfort.

The cost effectiveness of reaching this peaceful lifestyle is only one of the many prominent benefits that can be accounted for in choosing a cottage dream holiday as prices may start at roughly 10 dollars a night (around 6 pounds) at some eastern European destinations to just a couple of hundreds with packages including return flights from the UK along a fabulous Mediterranean seashore, all providing the ultimate tranquility one could yearn for in the most picturesque cottage holidays around the globe.

Various search engines have been refined to this specific holiday rental industry over the recent decade allowing the guests to choose amongst price packages, property types, owners, terrain type locations, local sports activities, accessibility, available facilities and special holiday deals serving the highest standards at best, most competitive costs to this magnificent, newly emerged, traditional countryside tourism that warmest hospitality can only provide.

The world`s most widely consumed alcoholic beverage is dating back to 9500 BC cereal farming and it is also mentioned in the history of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia.

Today, beer is the third most popular drink after water and tea, which can make a great alternative travel route to those individuals, friends, and even groups who wish to explore the cultural experience and the moody atmosphere that lays in either a traditional pub or a beer festival aside the brewery.

The greatest beer festivals today are held annually across countries around the world with the emphasis on entertainment and the sampling, tasting and purchase of a wide range of beers. The festivals may usually include a main theme, which either promotes a particular regional culture, a brand, or a brewing style.

The most notable annual beer festival today is the German Oktoberfest, which is the largest beer festival in the world. As Germany is quite the place for beer festivals it holds many other beer exhibitions, which last several days like the Barthelmarkt annual fair and beer festival in Manching, which dates back to the 1st century BC when the Romans established a cattle market in that area.

Other notable annual beer tent festivals are the Great British Beer Festival, held every August in London. The Belgian BAB-bierfestival held every November in Bruges is also an exclusive fair as Belgian beer is very famous for its uniqe variety of tastes.

Last but not least, the Czech Beer Festival, locally referred to as the Cesky Pivni Festival is held for 17 days every may in Prague, which according to the upcoming list of the Top Ten Beer Consuming Countries, is the current beer capital with the greatest consumption of beer per head per liters per year. Cheers!

Tasting and purchasing wine at the place of its origin has been a very common practice since the existence of grape fermentation.

This common practice have drawn many interesting people throughout the history to many places for this sole purpose of enjoying the fine wine produced there, evolving this extraordinary habit to become what is known as wine tourism, including visits to the vineyards, restaurants and special wineries offering unique vintages, organized wine tours and even wine festivals lasting several days.

Many regions are striving today to gain international recognition in promoting their wine tourism with their quality of service and hospitality along with the quality of the produced wine itself.

The wine producing industry is divided today into two main categories where one is referred to as the old one, produced at the old world or Europe to be precise, by countries like Italy, Hungary, Spain and France mainly with its Bordeaux, which are classic wine producers. The other category is the new world wine which refers to wine producing countries outside Europe such as the US, South Africa, New Zealand, Chile, Canada, Australia and particularly Argentina which is becoming a great wine tourism destination recently with its Mendoza Province production.

Wine tours can provide a great deal of relaxation, recreation and a holiday theme for individuals, groups and families alike, as most organizers provide exotic accommodations and the most comfortable surroundings around the wine producing area to promote their label and regions for both wine explorers and travelers in tasting and experiencing the natural feeling of the wine producing area.

The following images are a source vineyards collection of the currently best known wine capitals of the world, which have been rated and chosen according to their accommodation services, wine tourism experience, landscapes, culture, and of course the fine cuisine and the remarkable wine. Enjoy!

Coming to another country for the purpose of permanent residency can be made for many reasons from poverty to family reunion. It can also be of political or religious status in the form of refuge, or at the better case, it can be only the wish of one into changing their surroundings.

According to the IOM, International Organization for Migration, there are around 200 million migrants in the world today, seeking for permanent residence in another country other than the one they were born in. According to IOM 2005 statistics, Europe was the largest host with 70.6 million people, followed by North America with over than 45.1 million migrants followed by Asia with almost 25.3 million new home seekers. The majority of migrant workers today come from Asia.

The roughly 190 million worldwide migrants make around 3 percent of the world`s population, while the number is expected to rise in the following years and not necessarily of refugees, since that figure fell in the developing countries.

A 2009 survey interestingly enough shows that there are currently 700 million adults worldwide who would migrate to another country if they had the chance, with the United States and Canada as the most desired destinations, followed by Europe`s UK, France, Spain and Germany ending the list with Saudi Arabia and Australia as a most desired destination to migrate to.

The following research is based on the UN report World Population Policies 2005, which is the latest year the research was conducted. The total number of immigrant worldwide was estimated to be 186,579,300.

The World Tourism Rankings are put together annually by The World Tourism Organization, which is is a UN agency located in Madrid, Spain. As a member of the United Nations Development Group, the agency collects worldwide data as it makes a comparison of global tourism according to the flow of arrivals to each country.

Formed at The Hague in 1925, the World Tourism Organization came into operation as we see it today in 1974 with the primary aim of assisting the developing countries as its committees, besides statistics also include poverty reduction.

The main aim of the World Tourism organization is to implement a Global Code of Ethics for Tourism, while supporting its, currently 154 member states and 350 affiliate members in maximizing their economic, social and cultural effects with the benefits of sustainable, developing tourism, thus to also extract the best out of economic development and international trade as a strategy for developing countries, besides just supporting touristic publicity.

The following World Tourism Rankings, supplied by the United Nations World Tourism Organization, is ranked according to the 2010 tourist arrivals by country, though their further, more extended research of World Tourism Barometer would include factors involving the tourism revenue as well.

The following 2010 research was conducted out of a total 940 million tourists globally.
