Holland is part of the Netherlands, the same as England is part of the United Kingdom

you’ve got it wrong, Holland means the same as The Netherlands.
but you’re right about the provinces, there is a province named north-holland and south-holland, which are both in the western part of Holland/ The Netherlands.

Very beautiful. It’s not in holland though. giethoorn is part of the province Overijssel. The provinces of north and south Holland are much farther to the west of the netherlands.
